This has MAJOR implications for BYU's ability to go deep into the NCAA and MWC tournament, match-up with athletic interior players, pick up his scoring and rebounding load (11ppg, 6rpg), and ability to keep Jimmer and the other sharpshooters from being defended so heavily.
MOST IMPORTANT: Gives UNLV a MUCH better shot at beating BYU in the MWC tournament should we meet them in the semi or final. Think of the havoc Thomas, Lopez, and Massamba will be able to reak on BYU's front line, plus our other tall wing - Stanback.
